An elderly woman in her 70s is robbed of her handbag on Kungsgatan near Fristadstorget in central Eskilstuna. A perpetrator comes from behind and tears the bag from her, causing the woman to fall over. The perpetrator then takes off running from the scene towards Nygatan. The bag is found in the vicinity, but the perpetrator is still at large. The police have had a number of resources searching the area for the person. The victim has not needed to visit the hospital.

The police are interested in hearing if anyone has seen any suspicious behavior at the time, or if anyone has any other information about this. Contact the police on 114 14.
