The police are being alerted with regard to the fact that several loud bangs have been heard.

Several patrols are ordered out and begin to check the area, inspecting surveillance cameras and talking to people who are outside in the area. Quite soon it can be concluded that it is very likely that it is fireworks. Nothing unusual has been found otherwise.

The patrols have now left.
