03:23 Major public destruction, serious crime against the law on hazardous and explosive goods, Sandeslätt, Gothenburg
People call the police about hearing a loud bang that they perceived as an explosion and seeing heavy smoke at a multi-family house. The explosion causes damage to the door and the space inside the entrance door. It is unclear what has exploded.
A person is found injured near the scene and is taken to hospital by ambulance with unknown injuries. The area was cordoned off and the national bomb squad was called in. They are now cleared from the scene and police technicians are on their way. A large number of investigative measures have been carried out overnight and will continue during the day.
23:15 Assault, Hötorget, Borås.
Two people stop a police patrol and said they had been assaulted by a person unknown to them. The perpetrator is not present at the scene. A report is made on assault in two cases and the investigation will show if there is surveillance footage that may have caught the incident.
23:44 Fire, Swedenborgsgatan, Trollhättan
An alarm comes in from a control center that there should be smoke development from a villa. On the scene, the rescue service can confirm that the smoke development comes from a basement. No person has been injured in connection with the incident and a report is made on a fire without suspicion of a crime.
