Summary of the events of last night in Östergötland
Many police resources in Östergötland have been working through the night on two explosions that occurred in Linköping and Norrköping respectively.
Explosion, Linköping:
23.13 police are alerted to the area Skäggetorp in Linköping due to a loud bang. On the scene, the police can confirm that an explosion occurred at a gate to a multi-family house. No person has been injured, however, there are material damages to the gate and a nearby balcony. Residents of the affected house have been able to stay in their apartments.
The national bomb squad has been on site and secured the area, and a technical investigation is being conducted.
Many people have heard the bang and the police have worked through the night to interview people on the scene who may have seen or heard something. The police have also inventoried possible camera material and checked people in connection with the scene.
At present, the police have not found any suspected perpetrator. The incident is being investigated as a case of general destruction.
The police are still on the scene and working to find clues that can lead the investigation forward.

At 02.30, police are alerted to an explosion that occurred at a villa on the outskirts of Norrköping.
On the scene, the police can confirm that an explosion occurred at the front door. Even windows were damaged in the explosion. No person has been injured in the incident and the explosion only affected the facade.
The residents of the house are allowed to stay in their home while the police work on the scene, and a cordon is set up.
