Reports came in about a 75-year-old woman receiving a message stating that she had ordered a package, with a request to call a number. When the woman called, she was connected to what was said to be the security department. She was then scammed out of money.

The police were dispatched and a report of fraud was filed.

The police want to remind people that they should never disclose credit card numbers, codes or other sensitive information on request from an unknown person.
