04 October 07.14, Summary of the night, Västernorrland County

Since midnight, seven people in the county have been taken into custody according to the LOB, the law on the taking into custody of intoxicated persons. A number of these have been handed over to relatives. 

During the night, the police in Örnsköldsvik arrested a 25-year-old man who is suspected of assaulting a woman he has a relationship with. After questioning, the prosecutor decided to detain him. 

00:45 Fraud, Sundsvall
Police are ordered to a pub in Stenstan when a person is believed to have tried to get in with someone else's ID card. A report of document forgery is made.

01:25 Assault, Örnsköldsvik
The police receive information that a 20-year-old man is believed to have been assaulted in connection with a pub in Örnsköldsvik. The police have been on the scene for a report of assault. There is no suspect in the case. 

02:27 Fire, Härnösand
The police are alerted to a fire in an industrial building in Härnösand. There is no information that personal injuries have occurred. The police have been on the scene to assist the fire department, but have now left. There is no suspicion of a crime in connection with the fire. 

02:58 Assault, Sundsvall
The police are on the scene in Stenstan and notice a fight. According to available information, a 40-year-old man is believed to have assaulted a younger man. The suspect is taken into custody for intoxication.

Other: After midnight, two wildlife accidents in the county have been reported to the police. They occurred on E4 Idbyn, Örnsköldsvik and on E4 Bydalen, Sundsvall. No personal injuries are believed to have occurred.
