At 02:00, the police are alerted to central Strängnäs due to a suspected break-in attempt. A 90-year-old woman has seen a man with tools at her window, who appears to have tried to get into the apartment. The woman scared the man away by knocking on the pane from inside. The police have taken a statement from the woman and searched for a perpetrator in the area, including using a dog patrol. No suspected person has been found. The incident is being investigated as an attempted theft through break-in.
