The police receive a report that a suspected dangerous object has been found in an office in central Jönköping.

The object was not explosive and it was not considered that there was a danger to the public. But since there was a threat stated and there were uncertainties about the object, precautions were taken in the form of a cordon and that staff with specialist expertise were called to the scene.

At 16:30, it could be confirmed that there was nothing dangerous about the object. A person has been checked at the hospital in connection with the incident but is fine. The case is currently classified as unlawful threats. There is no suspected perpetrator.
