At 01.00, the police were alerted to a traffic offense in Eksjö. A truck is said to have passed a tractor, and in connection with the passing, the rear of the truck is said to have collided with the tractor's front shield. The tractor is said to have suffered large scratches and a destroyed rearview mirror. The police have searched but have not been able to find the relevant truck. A report on fleeing the traffic accident site has been drawn up. The driver of the tractor suffered no injuries.

05.20 SOS is alerted to a traffic accident on county road 558 in Värnamo, where a car drove into a ditch and into a tree. The driver, a man in his 18-year-old, has gotten out of the car on his own and is awake and able to speak. He is taken to hospital for examination. The man is now suspected of drunk driving.
