Four people have been taken into custody for intoxication, one of whom is suspected of minor narcotics offenses for personal use.

The police have also carried out a number of checks on people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of crime.

22:23 Drunk driving, Skellefteå
Police stop and check a moped in central Skellefteå. The driver, a 25-year-old man, is suspected of being under the influence of narcotics and lacks a driving license. A blood test is performed. A report is to be filed for gross unauthorized driving, suspected drunk driving, and minor narcotics offenses, personal use.

01:10 Traffic control, Skellefteå
60-70 cars were stopped and checked on E4 at Skeria. All drivers were sober. Two fines were issued due to inadequate lighting on the vehicles.

02:13 Assault, Umeå
Reports are received that intoxicated men have been involved in a fight on Vasaplan. Police go there. No suspect is left on the scene. Police take statements from witnesses and the injured party and a report is filed. Initially, there is no known suspect. There are no reports of anyone needing to visit the emergency department.

A wild animal accident has been reported to the police during the night.
