00:34 – Assault, Motala
A caller reports a woman who is likely to have been assaulted. The woman in question has been seen somewhere outside in Motala city center. Shortly afterwards, information emerges that the woman was allegedly hit by a man known to her. A little later, the police can locate the man, who is arrested on suspicion of assault. The suspected man is in his 40s. The affected woman has visited the hospital, but has not been seriously injured as a result of the incident. 

02:30 – Theft from a car, Motala
The public contacts the police regarding a suspected ongoing car break-in. Someone is said to have seen a man smash a window and start rummaging around in the car. This is said to have happened in central Motala. After this, the person is said to have run away from the scene. A report is filed regarding theft. What may have been taken is unknown. 

05:40 – Burglary, Norrköping
Police are informed of a burglary that is said to have occurred at the supermarket at Broocmansplan in central Norrköping. Someone is said to have seen someone with a large bag leave the area towards the city. Shortly afterwards, information emerges that the person in question is said to have kicked in a window and crawled into the premises. The police activate in the matter and just a few minutes later, a visual is obtained of a man who is likely to be the person being sought. In connection with a personal check, a large amount of stolen goods is found that could have come from the store. The man, in his 40s, is arrested on suspicion of theft through burglary. In connection with an examination of the crime scene, a stone is found that may have been used to break into the store with. 

Since the late Friday evening, the police have handled a handful of cases related to mental health. In addition to this, they have also handled many cases related to intoxication.
