Living in Sweden is Sweden Herald's practical section for people who live here or are moving here: the personal number, BankID, housing, school, tax, permits, healthcare and learning Swedish, with sources and the date each page was last checked. Four in five of our readers are outside Sweden, many of them on their way here.
The rules. Our guides and Alva's answers are never for sale. A partner is never named in a guide's text or in an answer, and never ranked. What you buy is marked: a line "in partnership with" at the top of a topic, a guide our newsroom writes with you and marks as such, and a Sponsored card that links to your page with us. Every arrangement has an end date.
One partner per topic, a guide written with you, or a four-week campaign across the whole of Sweden Herald. Every package comes with a report.
or 75,000 SEK a year (2 months free)
For four weeks. Pilot price for the first three campaigns: 19,500 SEK, in return for a case study
Prices exclude VAT. A month price is billed per quarter (three months on one invoice) or per year (ten months, two free). Founding partners who sign before 31 March 2027 keep their price through 2027. A view of your Sponsored card is counted when at least half of it is on screen for a second, and a month that falls short is made good the next month at no cost. More views can be added to any package: 4,500 SEK for 10,000. We send a proposal with an invoice or a card payment.
Tell us who you are, the topic you have in mind and when you would like to start. A proposal with our numbers for the topic comes by e-mail, and we answer within one working day.
