How it works

  1. Take your employer page. If you already advertise in English on Platsbanken you have a page with us: press Take this page on it and confirm your work e-mail. Free.
  2. Post a job on /jobs/post, or send it to us and we put it up for you. Apply goes to your own page or e-mail.
  3. Feature it, or go Premium for more ads, the talent pool and a monthly report. We invoice by agreement; nothing is paid on this site.

The talent pool

Readers abroad make a talent profile when they want to work in Sweden: what they do, the languages they speak, where they want to work and when they can start. With Premium you search those profiles and send a request; the person decides whether you get their details.

You see profiles without names or contact details. Contact goes through Sweden Herald, within your monthly quota. A talent’s details reach you only when they accept. You may not export, store or sell profiles on, or use the pool to recruit for others. Two reports from talents close the pool until our editors have looked.

Recruitment firms can post listings but may not use the pool to recruit for others.

The rules

  1. Paid is always marked. A Featured job is a slot of its own above the list for its city and field, labelled Sponsored, with rel="sponsored" on its links. It is never numbered with the list, never part of our editorial lists and never presented to search engines as our choice.
  2. Paid ends when it ends. A listing runs 30 days; Featured and Premium end on their date. Nothing bought stays up by mistake.
  3. Your own words are checked. Your page text, logo and job ads are read by our editors before they appear. They must be true, in English, for real jobs that do not require Swedish.
  4. Talent decides. People in the pool are never sold or exported. You see profiles without names; a person’s details reach you only when they accept your request.
