Personal Assistant Wanted

Would you like a job where you make a real difference to another person’s everyday life?
We are looking for a personal assistant for a man over 50 in Nacka. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the person receiving assistance, and you always work according to his wishes and needs.
About the position
As a personal assistant, you provide support that enables him to live an independent life based on his own choices. You work in his home and in the community, and the work is guided by the person you assist.
Extent: Approx. 90% position
Working hours: Tuesday to Friday, 07.30–16.30
Type of employment: Permanent
Starting date: As soon as possible
Duties
Duties are adapted to needs and may include:
• Personal care, for example hygiene, dressing and undressing, and meals
• Household chores such as cleaning, laundry, shopping and cooking
• Help keeping the home tidy, with a place for everything
• Accompanying him on errands, to meetings and to activities
• Practical support in everyday life
We are looking for someone who
• Can understand and follow spoken instructions in Swedish or English
• Is meticulous, responsible, attentive and respectful
• Enjoys doing things around the home and has a sense of order and structure
• Has good collaboration skills and can work both in cooperation with others and independently, following the instructions of the person receiving assistance
• Can work to the Tuesday-to-Friday daytime schedule
Personal suitability and personal chemistry are most important. You do not need previous experience if you are committed and willing to learn.
