🚀 We are looking for: Senior Test Manager, Test Strategy, Test Automation & Agile Testing
Hykmann Global Business Solutions AB is looking for an experienced Senior Test Manager at competence level 4 for a long-term consultancy assignment with a government agency in the Swedish public sector.

🔧 About the assignment
You will be part of an agile development project focused on developing a new road traffic register. The assignment covers both new development projects and the maintenance of existing IT systems in an area dealing with vehicle information.
The role combines strategic test management, test automation and operational testing. You will plan and coordinate testing activities, develop test strategies and methodological support, and work hands-on with testing in the delivery teams.
The allocation of responsibilities may change over time depending on the organisation’s needs and the maturity of the testing area. You therefore need to be flexible and able to switch between strategic and practical tasks.
🎯 Main responsibilities
Lead and coordinate testing in new development and system maintenance.
Develop and monitor test strategies, test plans and shared testing methods.
Develop strategic methodological support to strengthen other teams’ ability to carry out operational testing.
Plan, carry out and follow up on testing activities in agile delivery teams.
Work with test data in complex IT environments involving multiple systems and integrations.
Carry out exploratory testing and analyse technical documentation.
Work with testing tools and contribute to the further development of test automation.
Support and carry out testing of service-oriented and event-driven applications.
Identify risks, shortcomings and quality issues, and suggest improvements.
Lead and carry out load and performance testing when required.
Collaborate with developers, architects, testers and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the development process.

✅ Mandatory requirements
To be considered for the assignment, you must meet all of the following requirements:
Competence level 4, corresponding to approximately 9–12 years of experience.
Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
Be prepared to undergo a security check, including a background check.
At least 4 years’ experience during the past 5 years in test management, including overall test strategy and methodological support to help other teams with operational testing.
At least 4 years’ experience during the past 5 years working with test plans and test strategies.
At least 4 years’ experience during the past 5 years managing test data in complex IT environments involving multiple systems and integrations, and with high requirements for information security and the handling of sensitive or protected information.
At least 4 years’ experience during the past 5 years with exploratory testing methods, as well as the technical ability to understand and make use of technical documentation.
At least 4 years’ experience during the past 5 years using testing tools, such as Playwright, SoapUI or JMeter.
At least 2 years’ experience during the past 5 years testing service-oriented or event-driven applications.
Experience working with agile methods during the past 5 years.

⭐ Desirable experience
The following would be particularly advantageous:
Hands-on experience of test automation, including designing and developing automated testing solutions yourself.
At least 2 years’ experience during the past 5 years leading and carrying out load and performance testing.
At least 4 years’ experience during the past 5 years working with Visual Studio and C#.
