🚀 We are looking for 2 testers, System testing, test cases & agile development
Hykmann Global Business Solutions AB is seeking two experienced testers at competence level 3 for a long-term consultancy assignment with a public authority in the Swedish public sector.
Would you like to contribute to the development of business-critical IT systems and a new road traffic register? We are looking for someone with solid experience in test cases, defect reporting and testing tools who enjoys working in agile development teams.
🔧 About the assignment
You will be part of an agile delivery team working on the development and maintenance of system solutions relating to vehicle information. The assignment is part of a wider initiative to develop a new road traffic register over the coming years.
As a tester, you will work closely with developers and other team members to ensure that systems and functions meet the organisation’s requirements. The work may also include other tasks within the team and related projects, with a focus on a flexible, cross-functional way of working.
🎯 Main duties
Design and write test cases based on use cases, non-functional requirements and design specifications.
Plan and carry out testing activities in agile development teams.
Test distributed systems involving several environments and integrations.
Identify, document and report defects, and follow up to ensure they are resolved.
Work with testing tools and document test results.
Collaborate with developers and other team members to ensure quality throughout the development process.
Contribute to improvements in testing methods, testing processes and quality assurance.
Take part in related tasks within the team’s area of responsibility when required.

✅ Mandatory requirements
To be considered, you must meet all of the following requirements:
Competence level 3, equivalent to approximately 4–8 years’ experience.
Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written.
At least 4 years’ experience during the past 5 years of writing test cases based on use cases, non-functional requirements and design specifications.
At least 4 years’ experience during the past 5 years of defect reporting and working with testing tools.
Experience of testing distributed systems involving several environments and integrations.
Documented experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and/or Azure DevOps Services (ADS).
Documented experience of agile ways of working, such as Scrum.
Willingness to undergo security vetting, including a records check.

⭐ Desirable experience
It is an advantage if you have:
Several years’ experience during the past 5 years in IT-related work in the public sector.
Several years’ experience during the past 5 years in test automation, including designing and developing automated testing solutions yourself.
Experience during the past 5 years of testing in organisations that handle security-sensitive information.

🔐 Security requirements: A security protection agreement and approved security vetting are required before the assignment can begin.
👤 Who are we looking for?
We are looking for meticulous and analytical testers who can work independently, identify quality issues and collaborate effectively with development teams. You work in a structured way, have a good understanding of testing methodology and can turn requirements and design specifications into clear, practical test cases.
