Slick City is looking for a Deputy Park Manager who wants to help run the day-to-day operations and create a fantastic experience for both guests and employees.
Slick City is a fast-paced slide park with large and exciting slides and activities for children, young people and adults. We want there to be plenty of energy, joy and a fast pace here, but behind a really good guest experience there also needs to be structure, safety and order.
That’s where you come in.

About the role
As Deputy Park Manager, you will work closely with the Park Manager and play a central role in the park’s day-to-day operations.
You will lead operations on the floor together with our Shift Leaders and ensure the team has the right conditions to succeed. You will coordinate staffing, safety and operational activities, and be the person who sees what needs to be done and makes sure it gets done.
Some of our employees are under 18, which places extra demands on clear, supportive and responsible leadership.
When the Park Manager is not on site, you will be responsible for the park and its day-to-day operations.
The role also includes technical responsibilities together with the Park Manager, ensuring that the attractions and premises are in good condition and that the park maintains high safety standards.
Your responsibilities
In this role, you will, among other things:
 lead day-to-day operations together with our Shift Leaders
 plan and adjust staffing according to guest numbers and the needs of the business
 coach and follow up with Shift Leaders and other employees
 create clarity and structure within the team, including when leading employees under 18
 ensure that procedures, checklists and safety checks are carried out and followed
 respond to safety shortcomings, incidents and accidents, and ensure they are documented and followed up
 identify risks and take preventative action to ensure safety in the park
 ensure that the park is clean, organised and ready for our guests
 contribute to high energy, good service and a fantastic guest experience
 take responsibility for the park and its operations when the Park Manager is absent
For us, leadership does not mean standing on the sidelines: you are part of the team and lead from the floor.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who combines responsibility and structure with high energy and enthusiasm.
You have a good understanding of technology and are practical. You enjoy having several things on the go and a spanner in your hand.
You like things to be neat and orderly, take the initiative and keep an overview even when the pace is fast. When something is not working, you do not wait for someone else to solve it: you take responsibility and make sure it is dealt with.
At the same time, you enjoy working with people. You create energy around you, are clear in your leadership and understand the importance of being a supportive role model, not least for younger employees who may be in their first job.

Experience
We would like you to have experience in customer service, restaurants, retail, hotels, activity-based businesses or other fast-paced work involving a lot of customer contact.
A background in technical systems or assembly would be a strong advantage.
Previous experience in team leadership, shift leadership or personnel responsibility would be an advantage.
For us, finding the right person is at least as important as finding the right CV. We are looking for someone who genuinely wants to take responsibility for the business and the people around them.
Working hours and employment
Slick City has the most guests when other people are off work. The role therefore involves working weekdays, evenings, weekends and during school holidays. Night work may occasionally be required. The work is mainly on site.
Type of employment: Permanent, with a 6-month probationary period.
