"Maximilian Ibrahimović will have the opportunity to recover from a minor injury in order to eventually join Jong AZ (the reserve team)," the Dutch club writes on its website.
The 19-year-old striker was loaned from Italian club Milan to Dutch side Ajax in the spring.
Maximilian Ibrahimović has made two appearances for Sweden's U19 team.
