The tournament begins on July 11 and will be held in Canada, Mexico and the United States. A total of 48 national teams will play in the tournament.
Ibrahimovic announced that he will retire from professional football in 2023.
On Wednesday, Swedish national team coach Graham Potter will present the squad for the men's World Cup playoff. It is therefore not yet clear whether Sweden will participate in the tournament.
