Ibrahimovic left his mark on New York's most famous building through a lighting ceremony arranged in collaboration with the Consulate General of Sweden in New York.

"This is a big moment for me. My family and I are proud to light the Swedish colours," he says.

The Empire State Building, inaugurated in 1931, is one of the world's most iconic skyscrapers. The building stands 381 metres tall.

The World Cup final between Spain and Argentina will be decided on Sunday evening at 9:00 PM Swedish time at the arena in New Jersey, just outside Manhattan in New York.
