The Swedish men's national team has not yet qualified for the World Championship. Instead, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has another favorite national team. I am hoping for Brazil, says the 44-year-old.

In connection with a conference organized by the association of European clubs ECA in Italy, Ibrahimovic was on stage several times.

Among other things, he talked about the World Championship in football in the USA, Mexico, and Canada next summer. Then he will be cheering on his former coach in Paris Saint-Germain, Brazil's national team coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Sweden has not qualified yet. I hope that Brazil wins for my friend Ancelotti. I cheer for them. He has the magical touch, who knows, maybe he will turn it into gold too, says Ibrahimovic according to Aftonbladet, which refers to Italian media.

He also took the opportunity to praise his former coaches.

Mourinho, Guardiola, Capello, and Ancelotti are football, because they have all changed it in their own way. The first one I had was Capello – he did not demand respect, he got it. It shaped my mentality, says Ibrahimovic.

During the meeting, the players' tight schedule was also discussed. "Ibra" meant that it is about finding a balance between how much football should be played and the players' health.

The players always want to play, but they must be protected and football must become more sustainable. Look at the national teams – they should call in the players only when it is really needed, he says.

Ibrahimovic now has a consulting role in Milan.
