Milan lost in the final round of Serie A 1-2 to Cagliari, who finished 14th. This meant that the red and black team missed out on reaching the top four in the table, which would have meant playing in the Champions League.
After the match, Ibrahimovic was among several members of the club's management who avoided answering reporters' questions. The Swede was then escorted to the parking lot as fans gathered and shouted insults at him and others, Gazzetta dello Sport writes.
Before the match, supporters also held up banners asking Ibrahimovic and other members of the management to leave the club.
"Ibra" works as an advisor to Milan's owner company Redbird.
