"I listened to reports from the military, we discussed the situation on the front lines and the most urgent needs. Much attention was paid to weapons, increased production of drones, and the needs of the brigades," Zelensky writes.
In and around the city of Pokrovsk, the Russians have been gathering strength for a long time to take over the strategically important city. During the visit, Zelenskyy awarded medals to several soldiers.
"I am grateful to the soldiers for defending Ukraine and our territorial integrity. This is our country, this is our East, and we will, of course, do our utmost to keep it Ukrainian," the president writes.
