"But we will have to honestly see what is happening in the Middle East," the Ukrainian president says in a recorded speech to journalists.
A trilateral meeting could take place in Switzerland or Turkey, according to Zelenskyy.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan offered to host the peace talks in discussions with Zelenskyy on Tuesday.
Negotiators from Ukraine, Russia and the United States last met in Geneva in mid-February. According to a statement by Zelenskyy at the time, the talks were "not satisfactory."
