Ahead of the anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine on Tuesday, the AFP news agency interviewed Zelenskyy.

The president says that the outcome of the war is still unclear and, among other things, mentions that Russia is pushing for a quick presidential election in Ukraine.

Let's be honest, the Russians just want to replace me. Nobody wants elections during a war.

The president says he has not decided whether to run in new elections.

In the interview, 48-year-old Zelenskyy also talks a little about his private life. He says he tries to find time to be with his two children, ages 21 and 13, and his wife, but that it is not possible to see them every day.

In fact, I definitely didn't spend much time with them.

When Zelenskyy is not traveling, he spends most of his time in his office. He also says that he tries to exercise regularly.

I loved running outdoors before the war. I don't run anymore.

During the first two years of the war, Zelenskyy lived in a heavily guarded bunker in Kyiv, but he has now left it.

The most important thing, in my opinion, is that the Russians cannot drive us into a bunker.
