The delegation will be there this Saturday and Sunday, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, according to Ukrainian news agency RBC (RBK).
"You cannot, on the one hand, negotiate with Russia about future economic projects and, on the other hand, say that we have reached some kind of diplomatic impasse," Zelenskyy said during a visit to Pryluky, where around 20 people were killed in a Russian attack on a residential building on Wednesday night.
Zelenskyy is appealing to the US for help defending Ukraine against Russian air strikes. Only then will “Putin sit down at the negotiating table,” the Ukrainian president said. He called on the US to “shut up” Russia:
Stop feeding them deals; impose sanctions on their weapons.
The US presidential envoy was in Moscow and Kyiv in early September. Afterwards, they said they had high hopes for new trilateral meetings between the countries. Russian presidential envoy Kirill Dmitriev was in Washington, DC, a little over a week ago and said they discussed both an end to the war and “energy investments.”
