"We are working on several fronts - with the US, Europe and other partners that have stocks of missiles for the Patriot system," the Ukrainian president writes on X and continues:
“In particular, we have been waiting for almost a month for (US Secretary of War) Mr Hegseth to approve missiles for Patriot and NASAMS systems.”
In another X post, he writes that "things are moving very slowly."
“Slower than Russian drones fly. You can't say, 'Yes, we'll give you the drones,' and then not deliver them for a month or two. That's not how it works.”
In the past three months, Ukraine has received 24 Patriot missiles from the United States, even though it needs an average of 350 a month, Zelenskyy told ABC News on Friday.
