This week, Russia has attacked Ukraine with more than 2,300 explosive drones, more than 1,300 aerial bombs and nearly 60 ballistic missiles, according to Zelenskyy.
On Thursday night, it culminated in a massive attack with hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles against various parts of Ukraine. That day, at least 18 people were killed in various cities.
About a hundred ships
"Every dollar spent on Russian oil is money going to war," writes Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
In a situation where the war in the Middle East has had consequences for access to oil worldwide, the United States has introduced temporary relief from sanctions against Russia, allowing Russian oil already at sea to be refueled at any port.
"More than 110 tankers from Moscow's shadow fleet are currently at sea. On board are more than 12 million tons of Russian oil, which can once again be sold without consequences," Zelenskyy writes.
Ignored calls
The negotiations initiated by the United States earlier this year between the warring parties have been put on hold. The United States' special peace mediators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are currently participating in negotiations on the war in the Middle East.

In an attack on the city of Chernihiv in northern Ukraine on Sunday night, a teenage boy was killed, according to Ukrainian authorities.
