Zelenskyy says Russian airstrikes kill 18 in Ukraine’s Komyshuvakha, with 24 killed nationwide Monday

Russia carried out several deadly airstrikes on the town of Komyshuvakha in the Zaporizhzhia region on Monday, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Additional deaths were reported in several areas of Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote in a post on X that 18 people were killed in several Russian airstrikes on the same town, Komyshuvakha, in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region.

One of the attacks targeted a school being used as a collection point for humanitarian aid. A shelter was then attacked, according to Zelenskyy:

"This is further evidence that Russia does not want any de-escalation or any real justice. Russia is counting on more killings."

Ukrainian rescue services reported that a total of 24 people were killed on Monday.
