Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy describes Monday night's meeting in Brussels as "good and productive."

Zelenskyy met with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and Council President António Costa in Brussels.

"We discussed in detail our work with our American partners on steps towards peace, security guarantees, and strengthening our resilience," Zelenskyy writes on X.

The leaders also discussed the so-called Purl initiative – an arrangement where allies buy weapons from the US to donate to Ukraine – and the loans proposed for Ukraine’s reconstruction, although few concrete details have emerged since the meeting.

"Our positions have been coordinated on all issues. We are acting in a coordinated and constructive manner," Zelenskyy writes.

The Brussels meeting took place after Zelenskyy was in London earlier on Monday. On Tuesday, he will meet with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in Rome.
