"If Russia is ready to stop attacking Ukrainian energy facilities, we will not strike their energy sector," President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told reporters in Kyiv, according to the AFP news agency.
The president is also open to a ceasefire around Easter, which in both Russia and Ukraine is a holiday at least as important as Christmas, reports the Interfax-Ukraine news agency.
