According to current information, this oil pipeline could be put into operation within one to one-and-a-half months, Zelenskyy said at a meeting with government officials, which was attended by journalists.
But that doesn't mean everything that has been destroyed will be fully restored, he added.
The pipeline carries oil from Russia via Ukraine to the EU countries Slovakia and Hungary. Ukraine says it was damaged in a Russian attack in January.
Both EU countries have accused Ukraine of delaying repair work. Hungary has blocked the EU's €90 billion loan to Ukraine.
Zelenskyy says he would prefer not to reopen the pipeline at all.
