"I have arrived in Istanbul, where important meetings are planned," Zelenskyy writes on X, confirming "extensive" talks with the Turkish president, mainly about security cooperation.
Moscow accuses Kyiv of attacking the gas pipeline between Russia and Turkey, which supplies several European countries with gas.
“We are working to strengthen our partnership to ensure real protection of people's lives, to strengthen stability and guarantee security in Europe, as well as in the Middle East,” Zelenskyy writes without directly mentioning the gas pipeline.
