Zelenskyy's visit "will focus on shared priorities between Canada and Ukraine, including deepening defence, economic and energy cooperation," Carney said in a statement.
Canada “continues to stand firm in our commitment to support Ukraine’s defence, recovery and reconstruction,” he added.
Zelenskyy and his wife Olena Zelenska, who are coming directly from the funeral of Norwegian King Harald in Oslo, will attend events in Calgary, Toronto and North Bay. The visit is expected to end on Friday.
