Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelenskyj wants to shake up the leadership and renew Ukrainian politics.
Therefore, he wants the Deputy Prime Minister Julia Svyrydenko to take over the role of Prime Minister, he reports on X.
"I have proposed that Julia Svyrydenko leads the Ukrainian government and substantially renews its work", he writes.
39-year-old Svyrydenko has been Ukraine's Minister of Economy since 2021. The current Prime Minister is Denys Shmyhal.
