Zelenskyj announced earlier on Monday that he wants Deputy Prime Minister Julia Svyrydenko to take over the role of Prime Minister.
"I have proposed that Julia Svyrydenko lead the Ukrainian government and substantially renew its work", he writes on X.
39-year-old Svyrydenko has been Ukraine's Minister of Economy since 2021.
