"Today we continue the coordination at the leadership level", writes Zelenskyj on X the day after the top meetings at the White House, and continues:
"There will be discussions and we are preparing the relevant formats. We will also continue to work tomorrow. National security advisers are also in constant contact now. There will be security guarantees."
Exactly what kind of guarantees it is about is still unclear.
During Monday's Washington meetings, US President Donald Trump promised some form of American security guarantees for Ukraine. Later, however, he stated that the US will instead "coordinate" the guarantees in question.
