Zelenskyy's statement on X came after almost a full week of massive Russian attacks with missiles and drones against civilian targets in Ukraine, with many civilian casualties.
On Tuesday, Zelenskyy sent a warning to airlines flying in Russian airspace, insurance companies and passengers.
"There will simply be drones in Russian airspace on a scale that no one has anticipated... The days of safety in Russia's skies are over," Zelenskyy writes on X.
Putin called the threat “state terrorism” in a televised press conference:
They want negotiations to resume, but you don't negotiate with terrorists.
