The Ukrainian delegation wanted to continue the meeting with US President Donald Trump, despite the quarrel in the White House on Friday.
Trump did not want to, and instructed his Foreign Minister Marco Rubio and security adviser Mike Waltz to inform Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj and his staff to leave the building, reports CNN.
The Ukrainians protested but were shown the door.
They were asked to leave the room. Then they were asked to leave the building, says US Finance Minister Scott Bessent to Fox News, reports AFP.
Bessent was present in the Oval Office during the exchange.
Zelenskyj is said to have left the White House in a black car and subsequently cancelled his planned speech at the conservative think tank Hudson Institute.
