"We will discuss expanded economic ties between our countries, relations with the EU, other areas that our countries can benefit from, and security issues," the Ukrainian president writes on X.
He was welcomed in Belgrade by several Serbian ministers before having dinner with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
The two were due to hold official talks on Saturday, but Zelenskyy published a picture of them on social media in the evening, where he wrote that they "have begun bilateral talks."
The visit is Zelenskyy's first to Serbia since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
