Zelenskyy points to the US focus on the war in Iran as the reason for US pressure on Ukraine to end the war with Russia.
"The Middle East definitely has an impact on President (Donald) Trump and, I think, on his next steps. Unfortunately, Trump, in my opinion, is still choosing the strategy of putting more pressure on the Ukrainian side," Zelenskyy told the news agency.
Several peace talks between Ukraine and Russia have been held this year, with Russian leader Vladimir Putin repeatedly demanding complete control over Donbas.
