Before Zelenskyy could begin speaking, he was met with a standing ovation. He thanked the international community for its support and specifically mentioned the Purl initiative, in which other NATO countries buy weapons from the United States to give to Ukraine.
Ukraine has endured 1,451 days of full-scale war, Zelenskyy points out. He shows photos, videos and visualizations, including of attacks that have taken place in recent days.
"I want you to understand the true scope of these attacks on Ukraine," he says.
