Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyj has been in contact with Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) and thanked him for the military aid and all support that Sweden has given to Ukraine.

"It was a good conversation and we look forward to the 18th defense package", Zelenskyj writes on Telegram.

He also informed Kristersson about his "constructive meeting" with the US envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, and the details of the latest negotiations with other foreign leaders.

"We are working with a common vision of security guarantees. A solution must be clear before any negotiations begin, and Europe must be at the negotiating table. We need peace, a just and lasting peace, not just a temporary ceasefire", said Zelenskyj.

The leaders of Denmark, Norway, and Finland have also received calls from President Zelenskyj in recent days.
