Trilateral talks between Ukraine, the US and Russia have been on hold since the Iran war dominated geopolitics. Zelenskyy now says he has sent a delegation to the US for a meeting expected to take place on Saturday, something that has not yet been confirmed by the White House.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia will not attend. Peskov stated that the time and place for a new trilateral meeting have not yet been determined.
The pause is temporary; we hope it is temporary in terms of the continuation of the trilateral format.
