"Yes, of course. We have to go. We have to meet, to talk and make decisions," he says in an interview with Deutsche Welle.
The president emphasizes in the interview that a possible exchange of words with Putin is not the most important thing:
"The results count. It's that simple," says Zelenskyy.
The United States, which is hosting the meeting, said this spring that the plan was to invite Russia, but there has been no word on whether Putin intends to go.
If Putin and Zelenskyy meet in Miami, it will be the first time they have met since the Russian full-scale invasion began in February 2022.
