Ukraine is ready for direct negotiations with Russia – as soon as a ceasefire is in place. This says President Volodymyr Zelenskyj to journalists during a press conference.
After the ceasefire, we are ready to sit down in any format.
Zelenskyj further states that there are no discussions between Ukraine and the USA about a new support package.
We have not had the opportunity to reach an agreement with the USA on new support or discuss details, he says and adds that he hopes to meet the USA's President Donald Trump at the Pope's funeral on Saturday.
