Today's conversation with President Donald Trump's envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will be the third in two days, according to Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“We especially expect that the most difficult issues in the basic framework for ending the war will be discussed - namely, issues related to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant and territories,” he wrote on X.
According to the president, possible future summits at the leadership level will also be discussed. Wednesday's Ukrainian delegation includes chief negotiator Rustem Umyrov.
After Tuesday's Ukraine meeting in Paris, the gathered leaders stated that they had agreed on security guarantees for the country. However, on Wednesday, Zelenskyy stated that the European leaders had not provided an "unambiguous answer" about what the plan would be if Russia attacked again.
