Volodymyr Zelenskyj called on Friday around to a number of European leaders to seek further support for Ukraine.

After his talks, including with Sweden's Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M), the Ukrainian President states that "Europe must and can do much more to ensure that peace can really be achieved".

He says this in his daily speech published on social media.

He says he is hopeful that an end to the war is possible since the European countries have "clear proposals".

Based on this, we can ensure the implementation of a European strategy, and it is important that we do it together with the USA, he says.

Ulf Kristersson writes on X about his conversation with Zelenskyj that "no decisions about Ukraine should be made without Ukraine. No decisions about Europe without Europe. Our support for Ukraine is strong".
