Ukraine has launched a new offensive in the Kursk region in Russia, confirms President Volodymyr Zelenskyj. According to him, North Korean soldiers are fighting side by side with Russians there.
Russia has once again placed North Korean soldiers alongside its own forces, said Zelenskyj.
A "significant number" of enemy forces have been eliminated, he added.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported on Thursday that Ukraine had launched a new offensive in Kursk, six months after Ukrainian forces made the first incursion into Russian territory. Russia has since retaken some ground, while the Ukrainians continue to hold certain areas in the Kursk region.
