The company confirms to Ekot that they will be giving notice to 280 employees in Gothenburg. They will also review the consulting agreements that exist.
"The measures are part of our ongoing efforts to reduce operating costs and improve efficiency", the company writes to Ekot.
The notice will affect nearly 40 percent of the staff. Today, around 720 people work at the company.
Zeekr Technology Europe is part of the Chinese Geely's vehicle group.
