"Around 140,000 people have partied, worked, lived and enjoyed the festival city. They have all contributed to the festival now being able to report a record-high surplus," the organizers write in a press release.

Tickets for the festival sold out, which contributed to the likely record. An exact amount for this year's surplus has not yet been reported, but the money will go to charity, according to the organizers.

Zara Larsson closed the festival on the Orange Stage and was praised. The Danish newspapers Politiken, BT and Soundvenue all gave the performance a five out of six rating. The latter newspaper wrote that “the summer belongs to Zara Larsson”. BT’s reviewer wrote that Larsson “proved what a fantastic singer she is” and P3’s reviewer called the performance “the best pop concert of the festival”.

The Berlingske newspaper instead gave it a rating of three out of six. The reviewer thought the concert was too long and called Zara Larsson more of a product than a personality.
